Five militants killed in Jammu & Kashmir
SRINAGAR: Five militants, including two self-styled commanders of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), were killed and five others arrested in Jammu and Kashmir since Thursday night, police said.
Two JeM commanders were killed in an encounter with security forces at Arin in Bandipora district.
While Sher Khan alias Fauji, a foreign militant and self-styled district commander of the JeM, was killed on Friday morning, his associate Abu Sa’ad, a self-styled battalion commander of the outfit, was killed in an encounter on Thursday evening, a police spokesman said. — PTI
