SAI ‘D’ trounces Belgaum DHC

BANGALORE: Sports Authority of India ‘D’ trounced Belgaum District Hockey Club 17-0 in the State ‘C’ division league hockey tournament here on Friday.

Pradhan Somanna scored four goals including a hat-trick (13th, 35th, 37th & 40th), Poonacha (7th, 26th & 42nd) and Naveen Kumar (45th, 55th & 56th) scored a treble each, Deepak (2nd & 46th) and Darshan (22nd & 29th) scored a brace each and Nayeemuddin (19th), Bidappa (31sT) and Biju (50th) scored once each in SAI ‘D’s ’ resounding victory. — Special Correspondent
