First allotment list on July 18

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The first allotment list for engineering/medical courses will be published by the Commissioner for Entrance examinations on July 18.

Options will again be accepted from students from August 2 to August 8. The second allotment list will be published on August 10. Allotments to private self-financing engineering colleges will close on August 31.

The caution deposit for all candidates, except SC/ST/OEC candidates, will be Rs. 10,000. The schedule for allotment is given below.

August 2: Notification inviting option/re-arrangement/cancellation of options.

August 2 to August 8: Facility for arrangement of options.

August 10: Second allotment.

August 11 to August 16: Candidates newly allotted to all courses and those having to remit additional fee/IFRD to remit fee/IFRD at select branches of Canara Bank.

August 17: Colleges to download the list of candidates allotted.

August 20 to August 22: Candidates under medical/engineering/pharmacy/architecture streams to join college.

August 23: Classes to commence for all courses.

August 31: Last date for allotment for engineering courses in private self-financing institutions.

September 5: Principals of private self-financing colleges to report vacancy position in Government seats at 5 p.m.

September 6: Issue of permission to fill up vacant Government seats in private self-financing engineering colleges.
