KSO reopening

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Government will soon take steps for reopening of the public sector Kerala Soaps and Oils (KSO) near Kozhikode. A meeting of trade unions, convened by Industries Minister Elamaram Karim, here on Tuesday approved the plan prepared by the public sector consultancy organisation KITCO for revival of the company. KITCO has proposed manufacture of soap noodles in collaboration with Travancore Cochin Chemicals Limited.
