Coimbatore: Avinashilingam University will organise diploma courses in Applied Arts and Crafts, which will include art and design, communicative, visual, creative, textile, computer and eco-friendly art and entrepreneurship development.

Six-months certificate courses in food production and service, apparel designing, computer applications and accounting software will also be offered.

Students Federation of India and the All India Advocates Association will conduct free coaching classes for students preparing for the Law entrance examination at Thomas Club, near railway station.
