Loans for ryots under ‘Pavala Vaddi’ scheme

KARIMNAGAR:The State Government is taking all necessary steps to provide crop loans to farmers under the ‘’pavala vaddi” scheme (low interest rate) on par with the women self-help groups, Minister for Roads and Buildings T Jeevan Reddy has said.
Speaking after inaugurating the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society building in Ramadugu mandal on Sunday, he said that the Government was committed to provide loans to farmers at low interest rate.
Benefits to ryots
Mr Reddy said that orders instructing low interest rates for farmers would be issued soon.
Mr Reddy said that the State Gvernment was according top priority to the agriculture sector by completing irrigation projects on time and added that necessary benefits would also be provided to the farmers.
Progress
He said that the irrigation projects in Karimnagar district were progressing at a fast pace.
Karimnagar legislator and former Minister M Satyanarayana Rao called upon the farmers to utilize the crop loans and earn more profits.
He reminded that the Government was providing free power only for the welfare of the farmers.
