Minorities seek national quota policy

The All India Urdu Educational Committee urged the Centre to declare a national reservation policy for minorities with 10 p.c. quota in education and employment. In a statement, Mohd Jaleel Pasha, chairman, AIUEC, urged to the Government to introduce the reservation bill in the ensuing Parliament session. Mr. Pasha said a delegation would meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, AICC president Sonia Gandhi, Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil on Monday in this regard.
