Compensation to ryots

SANGAREDDY: The State Government has released Rs. 5.66 crore towards compensation to farmers in 10 mandals of the district who have incurred losses during the kharif season. The government also released Rs. 84 lakh to farmers who lost their crops due to gale storms. According to a press note released here on Sunday the district Collector B.Venkatesam informed that Rs. 2.55 crore for construction of 14 school buildings, and another Rs. 5.25 crore for the construction of pucca roads in the remote areas under the RIAD have been released.
