Income tax for cooperatives flayed

Thiruvananthapuram: President of the Regional Urban Cooperative Society G. Suganan has criticised the move of the Union Government to impose income tax on cooperative societies.

In a statement here, Mr. Suganan said cooperative societies should be fully exempted from the tax. — Staff Reporter
