NLC officials to serve strike notice

CUDDALORE: Employees and officials of the Neyveli Lignite Corporation will serve a strike notice on the management on July 3, to protest against the imposition of income tax on perquisites.

The decision was taken at the joint action council meeting at Neyveli on Friday, in which representatives of the Labour Progressive Front, Officers’ Association, Graduate Engineers’ Association, Engineers’ Association and National Graduate Engineers’ Association participated.
