Proposals invited from NGOs to run old age home

NAMAKKAL: Social Welfare Department has invited proposals from the non-governmental organisations to run old age home in the district.

The organisations, which were in the field of social service for at least two years and registered under the proper under proper registration act, are eligible.

A spacious building with the capacity to accommodate at least 40 aged persons was required to get the subsidy from the Government. It should have protected drinking water, bed, a minimum of six toilets and six bathrooms, and other required facilities.

Eligibility

The organisations, which meet the eligibility criteria, can obtain the application forms after producing necessary documents to the department. More information can be obtained from District Social Welfare officer, Collectorate. The organisation should approach the department within July 6.
