We are duty-bound to pay homage to yesteryear physicians for the timeless effort for their instrumental role in metamorphosis of erstwhile medicine into a so called Modern Medicine. Modern Medicine is growing beyond human beings comprehension yet some times they are detrimental of our dependence on technological advantage. Nature is great physician. Needless to say many a diseases are be healed or cured are blown out of proportions when we fail to understand the Nature Mot her. Physicians are human beings too, they are not infallible always but they have their inbuilt responsibility to protect our fellow beings by the very concept of Primum non nocere . Whatever he does is only for curing his ailing patients. Medicine rarely kills , sometimes cures, but always consoles.

Let us not expect the in-curable diseases be cured or non modifiable diseases be modified. Practicing medicine is not an inter-alia, it is soul-driven full duty of a physician. So simple encouragement at least will make him feel that he is not under duress. Amongst fast growing society and cultural change , people vilipend attitude may make any physician enfeebled. As one wistfully feels, doctor must be exemplified as

C- Care taker

T- Touch healer

R- Ready to do service.
