Abhishek hits 104

NEW DELHI: A fine century by Abhishek Kaushik paved the way for Alert Academy to score an 84-run victory over Young Friends Club in the final of the Ramesh Chand Kagra memorial cricket tournament at the Bharat Nagar ground.

Abhinav Bali was adjudged the Man-of-the-tournament, while Yogender Negi and Anil Choudhary were declared best batsman and best bowler respectively.

The scores: Alert Academy 237 in 38.4 overs (Abhishek Kaushik 104, Abhinav Bali 51) beat Young Friends CC 153 in 28.3 overs (Rameez Niyamaz 58). — Special Correspondent
