Prasanna triumphs

HYDERABAD: Prasanna Devi of South Central Railway won the women’s title defeating P. Sri Laxmi (Postal) 11-8, 11-8, 11-8, 11-7 in the final of the second GSM Kumud Pramod Dharia annual AP State open ranking table tennis tournament here on Wednesday.

The results (finals):

Mini cadets: Girls: P. Darshana (Atp) bt T. Bhavana (Atp) 11-3, 11-4, 11-6. Boys: Jishnu Vakharia (GSM) bt Sk. Sharukh Akram (Vja) 11-8, 8-11, 11-5, 11-2.

Cadets: Girls: P. Darshana (Atp) bt Akshi Sancheti (GSM) 7-11, 11-8, 9-11, 12-10, 11-9. Boys: Mohammad Annas Ali (AWA) bt Purna Srivasta 11-6, 9-11, 11-6, 9-11, 11-7.

Sub-juniors: Boys: Ch.S.S.V. Ramana (Vsp) bt V.S.S. Kaushik 11-5, 12-10, 13-15, 11-9, 7-11, 11-8.
