India wins first Test

CHENNAI: India won the first of the four-Test volleyball series against Pakistan at Peshawar on Tuesday. Aided by an outstanding show by Gurchand, the Indians dropped one game but ensured that the 80-minute match ended in its favour.

The scores were 25-18, 25-12, 23-25, 25-17. The next Test is at Wah on June 28.
