MUMBAI: Yasin Merchant, the Asian runner-up, tightened up his game in time for a 3-0 win over Devendra Joshi in Group C of the inaugural Nahar Group-MIG all-India invitation snooker tournament here on Wednesday. India’s top cueist, Alok Kumar, got the better of Ashok Shandilya in Group A, winning 90-24, 90-34, 65-29.
