BHEL secures RINL contract

NEW DELHI: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. has outbid a Chinese multinational company in an open global tender securing an order for a turbo blower package from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL). The turbo blower package will be installed at the RINL’s Vizag Steel Plant as part of the ongoing expansion project to raise the capacity of the plant to 6.3 million tonnes annually. Valued at over Rs.106 crore, the order has been placed with BHEL in consortium with MAN Turbo, Germany.
