Programme for journalists

Dharmapuri: World Community Service Centre in association with Dharmapuri district Mana Vala Kalai Mandram organised a free ‘Mana Vala Kalai’ and ‘Kaya Kalpa’ exercise programme for journalists and photojournalists here on Saturday.

Inaugurating the programme Collector Pankaj Kumar Bansal said that yoga and Kaya kalpa exercise would help mediapersons to manage the stress. They could improve their performance at work tremendously by practicing Kaya Kalpa.

World Community Service Centre president S.K.M Mayilandandham said that the training would help improve the physical and mental health of the people to a greater extent. Kaya Kalpa exercises were held for media personnel in Chennai, Coimbatore, Salem and Erode districts, he said.

Prof. V. S. Ilamurugan conducted the training programme. Members of the centre demonstrated various exercises.
