WTO probes on Indian wine duties

GENEVA: The World Trade Organization (WTO) on Wednesday set up a panel to examine India’s wine and distilled spirits tariffs at the request of the United States. Washington has complained that India imposes “excessive duties” on alcohol that violate trade rules.
