CHENNAI: Ten students who stood first in the Plus-Two Board examinations were selected from various Corporation Schools and on Saturday awarded a memento, a gift voucher for free health care, a certificate and a cash award of Rs. 3000. The function to felicitate the toppers was organised by Chitra's ENT Laser Surgery Hospital and Chitra's Charitable Trust. The Trust, which has so far been involved in extending health services, has decided to provide support in the education of children from the lower rungs of society. The names of the toppers are I. Barakath Nisha, M. Rajeswari, P.G. Induja, Dhyaneswaran, Yeshwant Kumar Aarthy Dhulani, Aswini, B. Poornima, Jeevakumar, and K. Karthika.

Ch. Krishnaiah, Director, Chitra's ENT, in his message to the students, congratulated them and urged them to work towards greater heights. Being from a humble background himself, Dr. Krishnaiah's aim is to help more children gain a good education. Swami Gomathi Dos of Sri Siddhabala Peetam, M.
