Couple arrested

NEW DELHI: A couple living in E Block of Pitampura have been arrested by the Delhi police for allegedly obstructing an NDPL power distribution company team from carrying out an inspection for electricity theft at their residence and for assaulting and manhandling the team members.

The inspection allegedly had revealed a direct theft of 10 KW. An FIR has been registered at the Pitampura police station against Mahinder Pal Singh and Baljeet Kaur under the Electricity Act, said NDPL.
