TMB ties up with UAE Exchange Centre

TUTICORIN: Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB), based at Tuticorin, has signed up with UAE Exchange Centre LLC, Abu Dhabi, the largest exchange house in the emirates, for money transfer services. With this tie-up, which comes into effect immediately, NRIs in the Gulf can remit funds to India by sending rupee drafts drawn on UAE Exchange Centre to any of the 182 branches of TMB. Apart from the traditional draft drawing arrangement, TMB has entered into a speedy remittance arrangement with the exchange company, which provides for web enabled money transfer in minutes, says a TMB release.
