SMECO gets Wipro Tech's integration services

BANGALORE: Wipro Technologies, the global IT services business of Wipro, has delivered system integration services to the Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) for the latter's customer care and billing systems. The implementation would improve the U.S. power utility's operational efficiency and reduce complexity of future integrations, a release said. The forty-plus interfaces that Wipro delivered were developed on a Service Oriented Architecture.
