HYDERABAD: Castrol Power1 Throttle Max biking championship will be held on May 12 from 9 a.m. at the HMT ground (Chintal) near here, according to a release. The event is expected to provide bikers a chance to prove their grit, as this leg is part of the all-India affair spreading across 12 cities. Two winners from each city will compete against each other in the final scheduled in Indore on June 16. Registrations will take place at the venue on May 11 between 3 and 4 p.m. Around 1,000 riders are expected to participate in the event. The participants have to complete three stages on a dirt track open straight stretch, obstacle course and wiggle-woggle section and the winner will be chosen on points. Participants can compete in Stock bikes up to 125cc (4-stroke, Indian made) and 126-250cc (4-stroke, Indian made) categories. For details and entry forms visit www.mtvindia.com.
