Delhi team for world event

NEW DELHI: Gagan Verma and Amit Luthra will represent the Delhi Golf Club (DGC) in an elite World inter-club golf championship to be held at the Nine Bridges Golf Club in Cheju Island, South Korea, from May 8 to 11.

The DGC has been invited for the first time to participate in the prestigious championship where 24 clubs will fight it out in a four-ball match-play format. Some of the top golfing countries — United States, Canada, Scotland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Korea — are participating in the championship.
