Sangeetha, Saritha enter final

VIJAYAWADA: Warangal's T. Sangeetha and Saritha entered the final of the 50kg category in the AP open wrestling competitions organised by Hanuman Rail Vyayamasala at Railway Mini stadium here on Saturday. In the 60kg section, S. Neeraja (Guntur) and T. Sujatha (Nizamabad) made it to the final.

The results:

Men's quarterfinals: 50kg: Dharmsingh (Hyd) bt R. Raju (Warangal); Vinay Kumar (Hyd) bt V.V. Prasad (Hyd), Prabhakar (Hyd) bt Mukesh Yadav (FMC), Devendar ((Nizamabad) bt Kumaraiah (Warangal). 90kg: Y. Yadagiri (Hyd) bt Abdullah bin Ali (Hyd), Kiran Yadav (Hyd) bt Abubakar (Hyd), Abdullah (Hyd) bt Gajaraju (Hyd).

Women's semifinals: 50kg: Sangeetha (Warangal) bt Bhagyalakshmi (Nizamabad), Saritha (Warangal) bt Satyavathi (Vizianagaram). 60kg: S. Neeraja (Guntur) bt Indira (Nizamabad), T Sujatha (Nizamabad) bt Sowmya (LB stadium (Hyd).
