CHRISTCHURCH: India scored a comfortable 3-0 victory over Kazakhstan in the Fed Cup Asia Oceania women's tennis championship here on Monday.

The results:

India bt Kazakhstan 3-0 (Shikha Uberoi bt Tatyana Ignatchenko 6-0, 6-0; Sunitha Rao bt Mariya Kovaleva 6-4, 6-2; Ankita Bhambri/Tara Iyer bt Mariya Kovaleva/Yekaterina Morozova 6-1, 6-4).

New Zealand bt Jordan 3-0; Uzbekistan bt Singapore 3-0; Thailand bt Hong Kong 3-0.
