Double delight for Chennai

VISAKHAPATNAM: Chennai won the men's and women's team titles in the 29th all-India major ports athletic championships and Tuticorin won the basketball title for the 13th year in-a-row in the 26th edition of the championship.

The results: Basketball (final): Tuticorin 75 bt Kolkata 46. Third place: Visakhapatnam 53 bt Chennai 47.

Individual honours (Athletics): Men: M.V. Gowthaman (Chen). Boys (U-18): Shreeram Marandi (Para); U-16: Chandramohan Hansda (Para); U-14: Tapaj Kumar Baik (Para). Women: M. Muthumari (Tuti).
