"Measuring fitness": a reader's response

The photograph "Measuring fitness" that appeared in The Hindu (March 31) was much more than a news photo. Your readers enjoyed the rare snap by M. Vedhan. The photo relieved the stress of your readers on the bandh day. Out of the 22 readers of The Hindu I met on March 31, 18 (81.8 per cent) had seen the picture and 15 (68.2 per cent) enjoyed the fun in silence! One reader had mailed the picture to a friend in the U.S. by email. Congratulations to you and the press photographer.
