BANGALORE: Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation's swanky Volvo buses will soon have an added attraction in the form of audio-visual advertisement-cum-public awareness campaigns. Chemm LVSE, promoted by the Chemmanur group, has associated with the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) to launch video advertising in Volvo buses meant for city travel, there by giving a new dimension to advertising. The advertisements would provide value to the advertiser along with being means of entertainment to the public, said a release. These advertisements would be complemented with content in the form of public awareness campaigns and relevant issues pertaining to civic awareness. To take this concept to the next level, Chemm LVSE has tied up with RADCITYASIA of Singapore and Media Plus of Malaysia, who are among the leading Media Houses in their respective countries. Apart from handling the clientele in public transport advertising, the two associates would upgrade the system in the future. The Volvo buses are installed with 30-inch LCD screens and DVD players. They will also play the advertisements through storage media such as SD and CF cards.
