TAMBARAM
: Two youths were killed in separate accidents on arterial roads on Sunday.
Sekar, 35, working in a private company was riding his moped when it was hit by a speeding car on the Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam radial road near Pallikaranai, He was returning home in Velachery.
In the second accident in Pallavaram in the evening, 22-year-old Ganesh was killed on the spot after he was hit by an unknown vehicle. A native of Dharmapuri and automobile engineer, Ganesh was staying in a rented house in Pallavaram. He was returning home on a motorcycle, when the accident took place on the GST Road. Police are investigating.
