CHENNAI: The Department of Automobile Engineering of the Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University (Chrompet campus), is conducting a national-level technical symposium titled `Automeet 2007' on March 1.

As part of the event, a vintage car rally has been organised from Guindy to Chrompet.

An `Auto Expo', traffic rules awareness programme, `wear a helmet' campaign and a bike show (best remodelled bike contest) have been planned.

Technical paper presentations, quizzes, design and gaming contests and ad zap are also included.
