School alumni meet

Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: The 1957 batch alumni of one of Mylapore's well-known institutions, P.S. Higher secondary school, will celebrate the golden jubilee of their passing out on March 11, which will also mark the founder's day of the school.

Besides a reunion, the alumni plan to publish a reference booklet and a fund-raising campaign for their alma mater.

The funds will be used for projects that will aim at improving quality education for the needy students, including scholarships.

The alumni group has asked all batchmates to attend a meeting slated for February 25 (2.30 p.m.) at the school. "Come and contributes ideas and resources," says an organiser.
