Living Spaces 2007 opens today

Three-day event to showcase properties, building industry products

CHENNAI : The annual edition of one of the most sought after events in the housing industry `Living Spaces 2007' is set to open here on Saturday.

The three-day event at the Chennai Trade Centre will see around 45 builders showcasing their properties and some 15 banks and financial institutions offering loans at competitive rates.

Displaying a range of household products such as bathroom fittings, kitchen equipment, electrical goods and flooring material will be about 70 companies from the allied sectors.

A premier event of The Hindu Property Plus — `Living Spaces 2007' is the third in the series — is expected to draw over 30,000 visitors. LIC Housing Finance Limited is the title sponsor of the event in which properties in and around Chennaiwill be showcased.

The exhibition will be open on all three days from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. and the entry is through tickets priced at Rs.20 each.
