Tributes to Rangarajan
New Delhi:
Defence Minister A.K.Antony has condoled the death of S. Rangarajan, Chairman of Kasturi and Sons Limited, proprietors of The Hindu group of publications.
In a message to Ramesh Rangarajan, Director of The Hindu and son of Rangarajan, Mr. Antony said he was saddened to learn of the demise of Rangarajan.
"It is a loss to the world of journalism, the society and the nation. His contribution to journalism and The Hindu group of newspapers, in particular, is unparalleled. A soft-spoken person, he had a passion for sports and films and his love for animals is well-known. He leaves behind a void which will be hard to fill," the Minister said.
Mr. Antony also extended his heartfelt condolences to the other members of the bereaved family.
