Campus interviews to be held for 3 days

TIRUCHI: The Institute of Entrepreneurship and Career Development (IECD) of Bharathidasan University, in association with Sutherland Global Services and CICADA, a Tiruchi-based company, will conduct campus interviews at the Khajamalai campus from February 16 to 18.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students, who would pass out in April from colleges in the Bharathidasan University area are eligible to attend the interviews. Students from arts, science, commerce and management disciplines, including those pursuing correspondence courses, can attend the interview, according to the Director of IECD, K. Parthasarathy.

Interviews will be conducted for about 250 jobs in Sutherland Global Services, and about 50 in CICADA.

Interviews for students from colleges in Tiruchi and Pudukottai will be held on February 16. For those from colleges in Thanjavur and Nagapattinam, the interviews will be held the next day. On February 18, the interviews will be for students from Karur, Perambalur and Tiruvarur districts. Candidates with good communication skills in English and computer knowledge can attend the interviews.

Eligible candidates must appear in person with college identity cards and a one-page resume at 9 a.m., on the said days. Further information could be had from the office of the Director of IECD (telephone: 0431 2421635, 2331651, 2332638) Selected candidates will be issued appointment orders on the last day of the interviews, Mr. Parthasarathy said in a release.
