Letters to the Editor
Chief Justice of India K.G. Balakrishnan's interview to Karan Thapar (Op-ed, Feb. 8) in which he spoke on sensitive issues in a frank and forthright manner is worthy of praise. He had the courage to admit that the judgments of a CJI could also be wrong. This only enhances our esteem of him.
T. Sukumar,
* * * What is most striking in the interview is Justice Balakrishnan's robust attitude to external criticism. What is more, he sees it as a positive sign for the development of law.
