No end to bandh blues

Haven't you noticed that the city is not quite relaxed after the verdict of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribuna?

A lot of people hurriedly advanced or postponed events planned for February 8 thanks to the bandh call.

But those familiar with how things work knew it would be postponed because no one can postpone or cancel the Aero India show: think of all that bad press internationally.

The bandh is now on February 12.

But isn't that when the Women's Tennis Association's Sony-Ericsson's International Event, which promises a line-up of stars including the phenomenal Serena Williams, begins?
