KATHMANDU: The Terai unrest shows no sign of abating in Nepal. One more protester died on Saturday in a clash with police in Birjung, Nepal's southern gateway to India, while another protester, who was injured in Janakpur a few days ago, also died. Birjung, Biratnagar, Janakpur, and Inaruwa continue to remain under curfew for more than a week.
Meanwhile, Madhesi People's Rights Forum, which is leading the agitation, has set the resignation of Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula as the precondition for beginning talks with the Government.
