Super Singer Junior contest

The success of Airtel Super Singer on Vijay television has lead to another show, this time for the younger lot. A statewide search for the best child voice is all set to begin.

The Airtel Super Singer Junior would not only get recognition from acclaimed names in the music industry, but also a prize of Rs.5 lakh. The age limit for registration has been extended from 6 to 14. Children can send in their recorded voice either on a CD or a cassette to Super Singer Junior, Vijay Television, PO.8484, Chennai-34.

A jury will screen them and shortlisted candidates will be called for the ground auditions, to be held in Chennai, Coimbatore and Tiruchi.

Forty-five talented candidates (15 from each zone) will progress to the next level of screening in Chennai where they will face the main jury.

The last date for applications is February 9.
