Kingfisher Airlines launches new service

BANGALORE: Kingfisher Airlines, the first airline in the country to offer a premium first class service on domestic routes announced the launch of a direct flight between Bangalore and Tiruchirapally on Wednesday. With this, the airline will be operating 146 flights across 25 cities.

The new route would provide convenient service for business and leisure travellers alike, a release said. Vijay Mallya, Chairman and CEO of the airline, said, "through the launch of this new route, Kingfisher Airlines reaffirms its commitment towards addressing the needs of its guests by providing connectivity between metros and mini-metros in India. The pace of growth coupled with our constant endeavour to raise the bar has endeared Kingfisher Airlines to its guests and this is sure to catapult us into the position of a market leader by 2010".

IT 2435 leaves Bangalore at 1.30 p.m. to reach Tiruchirapally at 2.25 p.m. It leaves Tiruchirapally at 2.55 p.m. and reaches Bangalore at 3.50 p.m.
