News Analysis
By deleting the first name and designation of the Somali premier, readers were left confused by the news item "Nothing to worry, says Premier" (January 5, 2007). It should have been "Nothing to worry, says Ali Mohammed Gedi". Also, the expression is nothing to worry about. A sentence in a box-item "Post-mortem report hints at organ trade" (Lead story, January 5, 2007, page 1) was: "He said: `Since the human organ trade is not so prevalent in India, a foreign hand cannot be ruled it. Though it is for the investigators to substantiate it.'" It should have been "ruled out". In a report "`Riddle of the Ridley' book release on Saturday" (Chennai city, January 4, 2007, page 2), it was stated that turtles are amphibians. P. Padmanaban, Marine Reptiles Section, Zoological Survey of India, Marine Biological Station, Chennai, clarifies that turtles belong to the class Reptilia, and not Amphibia.
