Young riders excel

BANGALORE: The fourth day of the junior National equestrian championship witnessed some commanding performances from the young riders.

Hrishika Basappa of Embassy International Riding School impressed with her steed Norfolking to win the SIEC jumping normal young rider eventand Anant Rajpurohit of ASC Centre astride Viking bagged the SIEC dressage event for juniors.

In the SIEC jumping normal children II event Anantya Sahney from Equestrian Centre for Excellency steered El Dorada to an impressive victory.

Earlier on Sunday afternoon, Aliya Dasgupta of EIRS guided Hannibal to a thrilling victory over the seasoned rider Daffedar Bhoom Singh of the 61st Cavalry, who was mounted on Virat.
