The Civil Aviation Ministry would immediately depute a team of officials to Visakhapanam to examine the cause of disruption to air traffic to the city due to fog. This followed the efforts taken by Union Minister of State for Mines T. Subbarami Reddy.

Novel `avadhanam'

Visakha Light Music Academy will hold a novel `avadhanam' of Ghantasala songs on December 12 to mark the 84th birth anniversary of the singer at Kalabharathi auditorium, , according to secretary A. Chandramouli.

Honours for ECoR team

The pair of P. Hari Prasad, Senior Divisional Finance Manager and Sports Officer, and S.K. Mohanty, Senior Divisional Medical Officer of Railway Hospital in ECoR, won the doubles title in badminton at the fourth BNR Officers' Sports Meet held in Bilaspur earlier this week.
