Power shutdown in many areas today

Bangalore: There will be no power supply on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., as maintenance works will be carried out by BESCOM. The affected areas include Vishwanathanagenahalli, Kanakanagar, Bhuvaneshwarinagar, Manorayanapalya, Sultanpalya, Kaverinagar, Shampura, KHB Quarters, Rankanagara, Dinnur Road, KB Sandra, Ambedkar Layout, Gandhinagar, Income Tax Layout, Kushalanagar, Muslim Colony, P&T Colony, Basavanagar, MM Layout, Devarajeevanahalli, Pariyarnagar, KG Halli and surrounding areas.

There will no power supply on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., as KPTCL will be erecting intermediate towers at 66/11 kV Electronic City and Naganathapura sub-stations. The affected areas are Electronic City 1st Phase, Govindashettypalya, Doddathogur, Chikkathogur, Hosur Main Road, AECS Layout, Parappana Agrahara, Harishinakunta, Hosapalya, Mangammanapalya, Hongasandra, GB Palya, Subhashnagar and surrounding areas.
