Japanese film festival from November 13 to 16

CHENNAI: The Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai, Indo-Cine Appreciation Foundation, and the Madras Film Society, in association with the Japan Foundation, are conducting a three-day Japanese film festival in Chennai from November 13.

It will be held at the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce auditorium.

The films to be screened are `The Twilight Samurai', `Gate of Hell', `Sarasvati Young Priest', `Dixieland Daimyo' and `The Wife of Seishi Hanaoka'.

Yoshiaki Kodaki, Consul General of Japan (Chennai), will inaugurate the festival at 6.15 p.m.

Seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
