Constable found dead in Raj Bhavan

Ballistics experts are investigating into whether his carbine went off accidentally or he shot himself

HYDERABAD: A head constable of the Andhra Pradesh Special Police was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Raj Bhavan on Saturday night. P. Innaiah (42) reported for duty at 11 p.m. but was found dead by another constable Abdul Gafoor Khan past midnight with two bullet injuries in the chest. "It is a mystery as to how the constable suffered the bullet wounds.

Two bullets of his carbine were found in the chest," the police said.

Ballistic experts would ascertain whether the carbine went off accidentally or the constable had committed suicide.
