NEW DELHI: Mohinder scored two goals as Glorious FC defeated Collegians 3-1 to top group III and make it to the super league in the Delhi Soccer Association's annual `A' division open clubs football championship at the Race Course Road ground here on Sunday. Mohinder struck in the fourth and 22nd before Collegians shot back through Vivek (24th). But Pranav scored in the 37th minute to put the issue beyond Glorious. Glorious finished with 18 points from seven matches to top the group. In another group III match, Hans Club rallied to score a 3-1 win over Garhwal Diamonds through goals from Saurabh (42nd and 52nd) and Mohinder (50th). Rajdeep had put Garhwal Diamonds ahead in the 35th minute through a penalty. At the Nehru Stadium, Royal Club came back from a goal down to beat Goodwill Club 2-1 in the group I match. Goodwill went ahead in the 14th minute through Ranjan and held on to the lead for 55 minutes before Anshuman Mehta came up with his first of the two goals. Mehta scored in a space of two minutes to give Royal Club a crucial win. In a group II match, Nivia Club beat Paschim Heroes by a solitary goal, Mukesh scoring in the 24th minute.
