Khaleels Pride takes honours in A.P. Commemoration Cup

Hyderabad: L. D'Silva owned and trained Khaleels Pride (A. Imran Khan up) won the A.P. Commemoration Cup, the main event of the races here on Sunday (Nov. 5).

In the Nagarjuna Plate, jockey D. Singh (Royal Glory) was fined Rs.1,000 for shifting in at about 1,400m and causing interference to Fire Wings (A. Imran Khan).

Jockey A. Imran Khan (Fire Wings) fined Rs.1,000 for shifting in at about 900m and causing a check to Cefiro (B.V. Krishnan) who fell back in turn and caused interference to Nano Blue (G. Sandeep).

In the Aberader Plate (Div I), jockey Sequeira (Charming Prospect) fined Rs.2, 000 for shifting in at about 900m and causing a check to Racing Is Fun (App R. Umesh), resulting in Autumn Gold (App Nitin Singh) racing directly behind to avoid clipping shifted out forcing out Time To Sparkle (Deep Shanker) and Madho (B.V. Krishnan).
