`Help centre' to facilitate e-filing of IT returns

MYSORE: Office of the Commissioner of Income Tax here will establish a "help centre" to facilitate e-filing of income tax returns by companies.

The centre will be located at the Income Tax Commissioner's Office at 55/1, Shilpashree Building, Vidyaranyapuram, Sterling Theatre Street, Mysore 570008. In a press release issued here on Thursday, Commissioner of Income Tax R.L. Rinawma said computer systems with broadband internet connections would be kept to help upload the matter and officers who had received training in New Delhi would man the centre.

The centre will commence functioning on Saturday and would function on all days. Companies based in and around Mysore and Hassan regions could make use of the new facility, he said.
